How to get started

Navigate to “Project Settings” in the “Tools” menu. A new project is created for you automatically. Enter the information requested for your project. You can add multiple Titles and Descriptions. Once all information is entered click “OK” to return to the main screen. Now you will see the site list on the right is populated with sites that you can click on to submit.

Project Settings

The “Project Settings” window can be opened by clicking on its menu item in the “Tools” menu. Here you can create as many projects as you require. The selected project is the project that you are submitting in the main screen. When CryoSubmitter first starts, the first project in the list is selected by default. To select a different project use the dropdown selection box in the “Project Settings” window.

Automated FTP Reciprocal Link Template System

To customise templates for the FTP system you need some HTML knowledge. The default template is found in you’re “My Documents\CryoSubmitter\Templates\” folder. CryoSubmitter searches this folder for templates on start up. The FTP system uses HTML comment tags to know where to put the paging and links. All of the supported comment tags and an example of there use can be found in the default template. You can also use this with any type of webpage including .htm, .php, .asp pages. Main Screen  

To start submitting to Web Directories, click on the first site in the list on the right. This will load the site into the main window. If the page that loads has a submit form on it then it will be filled in automatically, if not then the site doesn’t support submission without navigating to your desired category manually and then clicking on “Add URL” once you’ve navigated there. CryoSubmitter will always try to fill forms in for you even if you navigate to them. In the unlikely event that CryoSubmitter fails to fill any form fields, you can use the “Quick Copy” to copy the required information to the clipboard so that it can be pasted into the form fields.

You will need to type the CAPTCHA. If you are required to upload a reciprocal link just click on the “FTP” button, CryoSubmitter will have automatically grabbed the HTML link from the site for you, all you need to do is click “Add”. If there is a problem with the FTP settings you’ve supplied CryoSubmitter will let you know at this point, if everything goes well the FTP window will close. Now submit the form. Once the form is successfully submitted, click the “Submitted” button to move to the next site. If there is a site that you wouldn’t like to submit to this time then click the “Not Now” button to move to the next site. If there is a site that you wouldn’t like to submit any project to then click the “Bad Site” button. CryoSubmitter will automatically detect sites that are offline and will flag them as bad and move onto the next.
